@jtr Hehe 😆 You are lucky it doesn’t linger after you have woken up. That’s the bit that annoys me. I totally know the situation was a dream, but my brain can’t seem to leave it alone!

@jean What a gorgeous photo.
@BestofTimes That’s lovely. The mixture and colour and pattern on the inside in contrast with the rather sombre and plain outside is just my cup of tea.
@samjc I am exactly that 😄
@jtr Thanks!
@the Sadly, RIP. Still, judging by the few minutes in which I had to install Windows on the PC in order to disable safe boot and wipe the drive while installing Linux, macOS is not quite at Windows’ level of annoyances. Yet.
@BestofTimes Yes, interoperating with iOS is what I think will be the most tricky thing. While there are some ‘open’ smart phones, they seem to be at an early stage, and some require the use of Google’s store. I want that even less!
@rik Yep I don’t think we are the only ones!
@alans Nice! I particularly covet the forcats one.
@hollyhoneychurch That’s a fabulous shot! I grew up a bird/nature fan in a family of aircraft enthusiasts. When we went to air shows, my focus would be the bottom left of your photo, while they all focussed to right 😂. You have summed up Bank Holiday weekends of my childhood in a photo.
@jtr It’s an exciting time when you start exploring again 🤓
@Ozzie48 That’s a good use for dictation. It seems pretty accurate now.
@Ozzie48 I've just read back my reply to you and it sounded to me like typical 'Reply Guy' behaviour, even though I am not a guy! So sorry about that. I know how painful conditions like arthritis can be, so I am sure that I was glibly suggesting solutions that you didn't ask for, and that you have probably already tried and don't work well for you.
@Ozzie48 Maybe you need a keyboard with easier access to Emacs chords? I have home row modifiers, so no Emacs pinkie for me!
@Miraz Talk about the Golden Hour! That really is golden.
@crossingthethreshold @aeryn Doooiiitt, join our cult, I mean club…
@crossingthethreshold yeah, the Marmite version is much better (and has a bit less salt, since ordinary peanut butter tends to have salt in already).
@crossingthethreshold That is my absolute favourite, and I have to restrict myself to eating it once a week, or it would be ALL I eat 😂. I used to DIY mix my own before Marmite started making it.
@jeremycherfas Yep, I love it! Really it just replaces the need to treadle with your feet so that you can focus on drafting the fleece into yarn. I would love a treadle wheel but I just don’t have the space to store or use one. That was my main reason for getting an e-spinner.
@jean Yes please! What a sweetie ♥️
@jayeless Wonderful news! I’m very happy for you both 🎉
@BestofTimes Possibly was. I think I have mentioned a few of his books here.
@BestofTimes That is sad, I love that series.
@BestofTimes I totally agree. I love their style of animation. Have you both seen The Secret of Kells, Song of the Sea and The Breadwinner?
@jean Thanks! It’s not every time, but it has happened several times in this challenge so far. It gets a bit irritating. I think it has happened when posting from the web interface, iOS app and macOS app, so I’m not sure it’s a problem with a particular app, if that’s any help.
