@crossingthethreshold Lovely. I do hope the bird was OK. I’ve done the same thing with birds which have flown into windows many times in my life, protecting and warming them in my hands. Often you feel them right themselves and tense in your hands as they recover and know that you can open your hands and let them fly free. Always feels a huge privilege.
